ShopTips Privacy Terms

ShopTips app is a free shopping media platform to search and share the three essential product details - Feature, Tip and Review in an intuitive, concise and collaborative way. 

This privacy policy is meant to help you understand ShopTips’ sign in, privacy and permission terms. It is important for you to know that I developed ShopTips android app as a hobby to share it free with android community. ShopTips should only be used as is and at will. If you decide to sign in to ShopTips or use ShopTips' services, it is solely at your discretion and you acknowledge and accept ShopTips’ privacy and service terms and you agree not to hold ShopTips and it's founder responsible any time for any matters whatsoever.

Sign In Terms

You do not require to sign in to access ShopTips’ contents. A sign is required if you want (at your discretion) to add product and service features, share tips and post reviews. ShopTips does not ask or insists you to sign in to ShopTips by any means. 

ShopTips provides a simple and secure Google Sign In method to sign in. When you sign in to ShopTips, ShopTips uses your google account details like First Name, Last Name, Email Address and Profile Photo. This information is used on your user profile page (only visible to you) and in your posts (your photo and first name) appearing in ShopTips search results searched by other ShopTips’ users. ShopTips reserves all rights to decline ShopTips services to you with necessity of any justification.

Privacy & Permissions

ShopTips does not share or distribute your google account (applicable only if you sign in) information . ShopTips app does not require location, microphone, camera or any other permissions to work on any android devices. ShopTips is committed to do its best to protect your google account details (applicable only if you sign in) but cannot guarantee it due to potential risks of breaches of ShopTips underline cloud services and technologies.

Your ShopTips' Account & Contents

ShopTips' users can delete their ShopTips' contents anytime by accessing My Posts page available in their My Profile page (sign in require to access Profile page). ShopTips' users can also request to delete their ShopTips' account (inclusive of their ShopTips' contents) by clicking on Delete Account button in their My profile page (sign in require to access profile page). If you decide to delete you ShopTips' account by initiating a delete account request in ShopTips app, ShopTips will permanently delete your ShopTips' account associated personal information and your ShopTips' contents from ShopTips database. The account delete process might take more than a week. Once the account delete process completes, you will be notified inside the ShopTips app.
